Do y'all have all your feeders going off at the same time or do you space them out from each other?

At my main stand I run two feeders. One is 125 yds NW and the other is 85 yds NE. They are about 190 yds from each other. I have the NW feeder go off about 15 mins before the NE feeder both morning and night. Because of the wind direction and distance the deer are always more comfortable at the NW feeder. Once the NE feeder goes off it will either pull other deer out of the brush that have been lurking or give the deer at the NW feeder a second chance to eat. Either way it presents me with more shot opportunities.

I like to have one feeder and then hand corn a few other spots as well. IMO the mature bucks many times will hesitate to go to a feeder but may be more likely to visit a hand corn sight.

About 6 weeks before deer season starts, I set then for 30 minutes after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset and adjust as the sunrise/sunset times change. After deer season is over, I set them at different times. The deer/turkey feeders go to 7am and 7pm. The feeders where I shift to pig hunting will get set to 8PM and 10PM (NV time).

I have 5 hunting stations on the ranch, each station has 2 corn feeders. All 10 feeders go off at the same time.

i have 3 feeders at my stand. Left, right, center. All at least 250 yards apart or more. I have them going off all at different times around 20 minutes apart. i have deer that will hit all 3 feeders, and i have some deer that will only go to specific feeders. its crazy.

This past weekend I hunted with a buddy and one of his sets has 2 feeders one is penned one isn't . 2 nights in a row there were hogs at the un penned feeder and deer at the other. The deer have began hitting both and have created a highway between the two where we built a ground blind for now hunting.

When I used to hunt S. Texas I had 2 feeders on different senderos within sight of my stand. Deer would hit one feeder while corn piled up under the other. Not once in 5 years did I see a good buck at the feeder. I did corn the senderos and that's where I saw the good bucks.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.
