Good place for an invasion, they left too big of an openings in several places.

We have a bay fishing trip booked for Tues morning but do any of y'all that frequent here know any good places to fish from the shore? My nephew walked across the road and fished in the bay for a while this afternoon and caught a hard head catfish. Surf seemed pretty strong today may try to fish from beach just before sunset.
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

We have a bay fishing trip booked for Tues morning but do any of y'all that frequent here know any good places to fish from the shore? My nephew walked across the road and fished in the bay for a while this afternoon and caught a hard head catfish. Surf seemed pretty strong today may try to fish from beach just before sunset. The State Park pier has always worked well for us!

Anybody have a clue as to what this lil guy is? Hit hard and faught hard just to find out it was a 8-9 inch baby something....

The State Park pier has always worked well for us! Same here. Was some great fishing at the end of the pier once you get used to the locals out there. We were there later in the Summer, but the Red's would run about every 45 minutes or so in the afternoon. We caught a 3' shark but didn't bring it up, saw some sea turtles and a guy caught a nice tarpon.

looks like a non-native species called snakehead - if so , good eating It is an inshore lizardfish. Pesky SOBs and are NASTY eating. Not even good for bait.

Caught some pompano and ladyfish around mid day today then went back this evening and caught hardhead cats and was going to call it quits but decided I give it one more cast and caught this....
