Would like a low power scope for the rifle. Give me some suggestions please.

I had a Leupold 2-7 on mine in Warne mediums. I don't recall if it was a 33mm or 28mm. Either way, I thought the 2-7 was a good match

Leupold 2x7 used or a new Burris Fullfield II in 2x7.

Leica makes a very nice low powered scope, as do Zeiss and S&B. Of course, they might cost four to five times the price of your rifle ...

What's your $$$ pain threshold?

That out of the way, the Vortex Razor LH 2-10x40 is a very nice scope of modest profile. Again, it's not cheap.

I have the Zastava Mini-Mauser chambered in 7.62x39 and I wanted a very compact scope for this compact rifle. I went with the Bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5X32 (611546). It has done everything that I need.

Leupold VX-R in 2-7x is a great scope.

Looking at either a 1-4 or 2-7. Really leaning towards a Leupold VX. I might even just throw a nice early Weaver K4 I have new in box.

Leupold VX2 2-7X33! One of the finest small scopes ever made!

My choices would be:
VX-R 2-7
VX-2 2-7
Fullfield II 2-7

I have the Vortex HS 2.5-10x32 FFP XLR on mine. Depending on what year yours is you may need to get the modified bolt handle.

Mine wears a Leupold VXR 1.25-4x with German #4 reticle. Great clarity and fast acquisition for woods hunting.
