Just an FYI. Some buddies and I went and shot clays at the Castle yesterday. First trip in several years. They have really upgraded the clay courses. William Walton is affiliated with them now and has designed two new courses, the New York Hill course which is a 10 station, 80 bird course and the Brickyard Course which is a 13 station, 104 bird course. The NYH is fairly easy but that Brickyard is a real beyatch. They are really courting the clay shooters now and have several registered shoots coming up in the future. Sorry, I didn't get any pics, I was too busy missing birds.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking to shoot some registered SC.

They are the big place up on the hill near The Smoke Stack and Tac Pro, right?

Yes, that's right, Buzz. I was duly impressed with the quality of the courses. And don't carry your feelings on your shoulders, the Brickyard is tough.

213 shooters at the tournament yesterday. A good time was had by all. A few hiccups but not something that wont be corrected the next time out. Targets were very interesting as well. Id highly recommend Greycastle to anyone wanting to try their luck at Sporting Clays.

I missed that one. Was supposed to go but had family matters come up. My buddies said it was bad hot out there. Big turnout and little shade. Still wish I could have made it.

It was a very good shoot, Bubba and staff did a great job for their first shoot.

One of my shooting partners won the $3,000 deer hunt.

There was one part of the trail on the Brickhouse around station 8 I think, that was pretty tuff to get up. Saw a number of carts being pulled and pushed up that hill due to the loose gravel.
