Coons are suckers for corn. A few Dukes with corn and you will have your immediate coon problem over in short time. After that, stay after them, they regroup pretty quick.

Didnt know what dukes were. Googled it. Found on amazon. Will have a couple on Wednesday. I understand marshmallow is the choice bait...

Marshmellows work great, but since your coon population appears to be addicted to corn, a few kernels of corn might work just fine.

I bet the duke trap company sure appreciates all of the advertisement and business, The traps everyone refers to for catching raccoons are called dog proof traps. Duke is just a company and they don't necessarily make the best dog proof trap, not putting anything against anyone or their company but across the hunting community these traps are mistakenly called dukes time after time and therefore that's what people buy, pretty good for the duke trap co. But just some friendly info
