Is it possible to get an email when someone responds in a thread I've posted in? I went to "edit preferences" and changed "By default should anything added to your Watch Lists be emailed to you?" to yes. Does posting in a thread put it on my watch list?

You need to click the topic options, it's next to New Reply in the upper left hand corner of all threads. Then click on "Add Topic to your Watched Topics".

just know that anytime anyone posts on a watched thread you'll get an email.

So I have clicked "Add Topic to your Watched Topics" on posts I'd like to be emailed for. For whatever reason, it is bumping me off. I have added topic to watched topics several times and after a few minutes, I check it, and it's been removed. What am I doing wrong?
P.S. I just added this thread to watched topics as a test.

Try going to my stuff, it's to the right of forum list at the top, then click on cookies and clear them. Then try again.
