Since this Axis jumped in and if I would decide to hunt him. Can I say he is free range?

Then this one could also be considered free range since he also jumped in?

Only if you shoot them with a .223.

No, the confines of the fence instantly tame them to the point of eating from your hand.

If that is the case then when he decides to jump back out he will be considered a "non free range" Axis? So then there are actually 3 types of hunting. HF or as some call it confined. Free range. And now Non Free Range.

It really depends if "he" uses a gender neutral bathroom. Could be HFNB, LFNB or NFRNB. After you shoot ask his preference. Then you will know if you killed a gender neutral buck or not? How would you score that?

I would put a feeder 10 feet outside the fence. Once he jumps the fence, shoot him with your tactical .223 six or seven times and then you can call him a free range trophy.

Does not matter to me what you want to call those bucks. I say they are good bucks and shoot 'em or offer em up for a hunt advertising that they do jump in & out so good luck.

Just as long as he is IN range that is all I would be concerned with. Nice Axis.

Do you think that the game warden will believe me if I told him the buck deer I shot was really a trans doe rabbit, and therefore was legal? I could get a statement from the rabbit psychiatrist that states that it was just waiting for the operation to make the full transition.

All I see is the "ivory" on that head. That is the best antler to work with, polishes up like ivory.

I have no clue. However, when you do find out (with the help of the ethics police of course), let me know. Maybe it will help me understand the concept of "free range" blackbuck and oryx. I have tons of each and they can't even jump a 3' hog panel, yet people market them as "free range". confused2

The "ethic police" on here are like liberals in Washington. They seem to know it all. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. And it is their way or the highway. Kind of like discussing 223's.
