Sunflowers have come up for last 17 years with discing after first freeze but hardly any came up so far! I have a small window to plant Millo or Millet this weekend for Sept 1st success! What has been your experience?

When did you disc for your sunflowers? If we keep getting rain you will have some sunflowers.

After first freeze, but I don't think we had a second freeze to scar the seeds! Anyway I'm planting millet tomorrow! If things don't turn out I might be giving you a call!

I make sure all my fields are turned no later than the first week of Feb and usually have them done in January.

It's kinda weird; the weather, I have noticed the sunflowers are late---also the doveweed doesn't seem to be up as high as it usually is?
