We sure are needing this this, the ponds were still in good shape but the pastures were drying out. Radar shows the heaviest rains just south of town which means the big ranch and my place are flooding right now. Have a swabbing crew on a well but it looks like their weekend may start early, that location will be a muddy swamp.

It started raining here at 4:30, this round is about finished, but it looks like we might get more in a little while. 40% chance all day. My appointment this morning was cancelled because of street flooding.

Nothing here on the west side of Mason County. Deer are hitting protein heavy. Gonna make for better than average antlers, but I would rather have the rain.

Got 1-1/2" this morning near Longview but looks like it's stopping. Just about the right amount.
Ranch Dog, hop you got soaked.

I'm guessing the Bronte area got a good soaking yesterday. Rain was running from just west of San Angelo up through Robert Lee and Bronte and to the NE from there. Moved a bit east finally and ended up with a tornado warning in Winters and again in the Early/Brownwood area. No damage that I've heard of. I got about a quarter inch of rain mixed with pea to .50 cent piece sized hail here.

Nothing of any consequence over the last week.

In my part of Runnels county we could use a few dry days to kill the moss, but we will take any and everything that we get.

I got 1.7" and hail the night before last. Just had my standing seam roof replaced about two months ago from last spring's hail storm. I can see dents in the metal but I don't want my third new roof in four years.
South of Menard, we had less than an inch an no hail. We are praying for more rain but I can do without the "hard" precipitation.
Proud for you Mike!
Adios,
Gary

Dang, good find. I go and check the Indian mound after a rain, sometimes I get an easy find.
We have only got about a 1/4" of rain over the last week here in Helotes, they storms keep passing just north or south of us.

You don't miss a thing, Partner. Better finding it there than in your tire.
