Seeing all these beautiful animals taken this month. I'm headed West and gonna try to put my wife on a deer. Should be about prime axis hunting time.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Nothing yet. We got here around 1700 and rode the property some, checked feeders and pulled cards. About 8k pictures to go through since my last visit in late March. Scrolled though the last week on all cams and see a lot of axis but no real studs. Tons of hogs. Seeing a lot of WT this morning. Windy, overcast and cool. Plan on staying until Wednesday or Thursday.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Super foggy this morning. Still hasn't lifted. Saw a few young bucks and does. Nothing she couldn't pass.

Wasn't able to get her on one. Weather had them messed up. Cold, rainy and windy most of the time. Oh well, couldn't have asked for a better trip.
