Picked Kate up from the trainer yesterday and brought her home. She comes in from harassing Jack the setter and her left eye is closed and all kinds of crap coming from her eye. Take her to the vet and she pulls a grass burr out of her eye. A week of anti-biotics three times a day for a week. She should be fine.
Grass burrs hurt in your foot but in the eye, MAN!!!

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Ouch.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.
