Dad bought that 2 years ago for $599. It's a dang fine rifle for the money. A switch to the RR 2 stage trigger made it darn near perfect. I don't think anybody will have anything to complain about if they buy it

That almost makes me wish I wouldn't have bought the PSA AK+AR combo that was on sale last week. Almost.

What about the CIA C308 combo deal on gun.deals for $679? Which one would you buy?

I saw some talk on AR15.com that there are guys who are not happy with theirs. I don't own one so I have no idea about them. There are also alot of arm chair quarterbacks over there so take it for what its worth. Not trying to flame the thread, just wanted to encourage anyone interested in purchasing one to research it first before dropping hard earned money.

Not a custom build, Gary. It came as a 7-08?

That's a great price on a .308 AR.

Been carrying my DPMS version quite often. It's done a fine job of the lone coyote, as well as the sounder of hogs, which is what it's perfect for.

I know it sounds strange but that is correct. They offered an upper in a 7mm08 in the fall in 2015. I ordered one and was put on back order. The next spring I was about to scratch the idea and get a 6.5 because I had not heard anything when low and behold I was told that they had one come in. So here she is, pretty good shooter.

10-11lbs. Not light, but very well balanced.

I'm not going to lie, I like it better than my CMMG
