They boiled squash until it tasted just like it sounded when I was growing up. It was never one of my favorites. I really like it since I learned to stir fry it. I got tired of my potatoes with my cheeseburger and also wanted to try this years batch of salsa, sooooooo.

We make it just like that except with some sliced smoked sausage or Kielbasa thrown in.

We make it just like that except with some sliced smoked sausage or Kielbasa thrown in. You have a complete meal with that. I've done it with the twice cooked pork recipe. I would liked to have had more color but my peppers have not yet turned color.
