Finally picked up a 9mm shield and loading these mags are a pain!
Any of you shield owners using a speed loader and which has worked best for you? I've looked a few up online but have never used one, so this is new territory to me.

Not for a shield specifically but I've used a lula universal pistol mag loader when I went to a pistol course. Saved my thumbs from loading hundreds of rounds.

I haven't used it on my brand spanking new shield, but my Maglula UpLULA has made short work of loading 1911 mags and full size M&P mags.

The UpLULA works great on my Shield 40 magazines as well as other pistol mags. Those Shield mag springs are very stiff.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Thanks yall. I guess I got spoiled on my sig since its so easy to load the mags...this shield however just flat out sucks to load. I'll look into the maglula. That was one that was higher up on my list with better reviews.

Loading will get easier after a few hundred rounds . But better tight than not loading right !

It'll loosen up with use. Maglula is the way to go.
