Anyone have any experience with the brand? Might do a trade for one, found a Berkel 829A 14" blade slicer in my area on CL for a good price. Can't find many reviews on this particular model but the few I've found look solid. Just wanted to see if anyone here had anything positive or negative about them before I go ahead with the trade. Thanks!

They're awesome and have been around forever, easy to get parts for if anything breaks or needs replacing which is unlikely.

Good deal. I ended up getting the 829-A for a heck of a deal. It is only missing one part, the Slice Deflector plate. I already found a replacement for $40 online. Pretty excited to see this thing in action, got some bacon curing in the fridge that will be ready for smoke in another 9 days or so.
