Got a quick question for those of you that work on small engines. Since I buy a lot of four wheelers, most need new fuel lines due to being old. I'm looking to buy it 20-50 feet at a time so I don't have to run to the auto store whenever I need it. I've found that 1/4 or 5/16 will work for most, so I looked at lowes and they have a "fuel line" with the same specs as regular tubing. Anyone know if there's a difference or if the cheaper non-"fuel line" is the same? The only difference is the "gas line" is a little thicker tubing, and is double the price. Thanks in advance.

Another option from Walmart that can be shipped to your door. 50 ft of fuel line

Do neither. Go to stens.com and find what you want and let me know. I'll order it for you and you can come get it if your close. I get a good discount from them so the price you see online will be more. My store is in Garland tx. I bought a 25ft roll of a special fuel line for cheaper than the outdoor power place wanted for three feet.

Get with Walter or run up to your local napa and buy it. We used to carry it in 25' boxes granted it is a little more expensive than typical fuel line but worked perfect for the application. I would get with Walter and get it on the way

Thanks Walter! I will take a look at the site and let you know. Garland isn't a far drive especially for a good deal on actual fuel line. $5.99 for the 20 ft roll of stuff at Lowes was calling my name since it's so cheap, but would rather have good tubing.

Heck of an offer Walter I had to buy 30ish' for the toyhauler last summer, from what I read' type does matter with this ethanol fuel mixes. Don't recall what I paid, but it was over a dollar per ft. Was on a big roll at a small auto parts mom pop place.

Can't remember specs, but automotive fuel line is braided to handle pressurized fuel systems. Gravity fed and pickup lines only need be fuel and abrasion resitant. I would guess the Lowes product would be good for pickup or non pressurized.
If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Check out Amazon. I would not go cheap on fuel lines or try a substitute. This ethanol is tough on fuel lines...
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............
