Looks like I'll be driving back to Texas from Arizona for the 4th of July (7/1-7/8). Didn't get drawn for an elk or pronghorn out here, and don't want to leave the deer draw to chance. I'd like to take an axis doe but open to suggestions.

Ideally an 1-1.5 hours from Fort Worth, after the 14 hour drive from Flagstaff, would like to limit my time in the car. Price range is $300-500.

Let me know if you've got something!

I have axis does in the Sonora Texas area for $350 per doe and a $100 a day guide fee. Each day

I've got 4 red stags available for meat hunts. $1,200 each. I'm located in Tyler TX. 80 miles East of Dallas. 903 539 3923

Not trying to high jack this thread. But when do the stag need to be hunted? How old are they?

I would like them taken before they come out of velvet. They are 2 to 5 years old.

I know Tyler well, my parents live in Whitehouse and I graduated high school from Troup. Ended up finding a hunt down in Hamilton, got my axis doe and hog. Sorry for the delay responding, hadn't had any bites on it and just checked in when I got back to Arizona today.

They've got some good looking axis, fallows, and black bucks. Lots of whitetail, but very young.
