Anybody tell me what is going on here? Brake Fluid? This dark liquid is seeping through the wheel rim. I looked on the inside of the wheel where the brake line is and couldn't see anything. Notice the bubbling on the rim. I am stumped. Brake fluid reservoir seems to be pretty full. This leakage has been going on a few months but just noticed the bubbling today.

Aha - I think you are right DPirate80! It is the front wheel btw. Makes sense with the bubbling. Thanks!

The bubbling makes me think the wheel has a hole in it. The wheel inside is probably
rusty from tie sealer and moisture.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Tire sealer.

I would think tire sealer also. I've had mine do that but I have slime in mine so it was green.

There is slime in that tire - in fact just added a bit more the other day to see if that was it. It very well be a hole in the wheel then, as the bubbling started to happen a day after I aired the tire up. Can you even patch a hole in the wheel?

You mean JB Weld or something similar?

You could try jb.. it would need to be a heavy waterproof type but may work... id use the adhesive patches that has a metal cloth patch... you basically sand down the leak spot.. let dry then mix the stuff... you MUST get it on quick so don't mix until your ready to add it... then you brush it on the metal lay the patch down and coat the patch as even and solid as possible... you will need no pressure in the wheel when you do it then let dry for a day... I patched fuel tanks with it before and they worked well

I just paid $40 for a new wheel for my honda that had a bent wheel. They aren't too expensive.

Thanks Kyle - I may go that route if I can find an OEM stock wheel to match the others. Looked a bit on Amazon and Ebay with no luck.

I ordered mine from Rocky Mountain ATV. Partzilla is also a good source. Just search your model and find the part schematic for it, that'll give you a part # then you can search it up on any website to see if they have the part
