I am new to reloading and a friend is helping me develop loads for my 45-70 & 6.8SPC. Looks like 43.6gns of IMR4198 is the ticket.

Load development for my 6.8SPC. Looks like 26.6gns is the right load for it. I made my own targets for the thermal scope and put hand warmers behind them. Worked pretty well.

What rifle are you shooting with the 6.8? If an AR platform, those are all great looking groups.
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

What rifle are you shooting with the 6.8? If an AR platform, those are all great looking groups. Yes, AR platform. 18" IWT 6.8SPC II upper. Federal brass, CCI 450 primers, H322 powder, 120gn Hornaday SST projectile.
