Which are the best and why? Time for me to upgrade from my old 55 gal drum tripod feeders. Seems most of the stand and fill feeders have coon cages. While this is good, it also cause a bunch of the corn to fall straight down under the low feeder. Are there any well made designs that have found away to get the corn spread out side the perimeter of the feeder? Thanks.

Look at the new ranch king 600 lb. I just put one out. Great design and has controls in the lid not up under the feeder. No cage. Well built.

The mighty midget corn feeder? No the mighty buck. Just hit dealers last two weeks or so. I don't think it's on the website yet. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

You can put a varmit proof spin plate on your 55 gal drum and cut the legs down on your feeder.
However I like the all seasons stand and fills

The farthest kernel we've measured from the varmint plates on a throw is 42 feet.

Oooo, I like the idea of having the controls up high. I could get used to that.

like the looks of that feeder Ramball. I'll probably be looking for a 500 lb model in the next month or so.

We have a new design for total elimination of varmints and it is a spin cast model. We also offer this feeder in directional throw models. I have pictures and unfortunately they will not load. If you are interested please give us a shout and I can email the pictures. quinnms@live.com

That new Ranch King Mighty Buck is a slick design. Controls up high but low fill height. Painted galvanized hopper will last a long time.

Alamo. I've owned many and nothing comes close. In the classified section.
