My uncle is moving and gave these to me

Large heavy meat cleaver. My great grand mothers husband was a chef at the baker hotel and my uncle got this from him

This was given to my uncle by his uncle and now he gave it to me. The stick on the left

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

Very interesting. I've never seen a blade like that Case either, it"s cool though. And I've got a similar stick, that has measurements like a yardstick on it, and it's square. I can't remember what the heck it was used for though....cotton or something?? Mine doesn't have a blade on it. Yours looks REALLY old.

Mmmm Hmmm

I like the big cleaver, useful when you need it. The CASE is an unusual stick.

I've got an old Dexter cleaver about that size. Ran it through the Ken Onion and it slices newspaper.

Nice...I found a knife like the Case in a antique store for $6.00. Does not have the name on it that I can read but is a really good knife. Has become my favorite for skinning and quartering because it will hold the sharp edge.
