Does anyone know of a decent 200+ yard range in the few area? Use to go to top gun but it's closed now. Thanks.

Never been to it but there's an old one & new one on Lawson Rd in east mesquite
No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

FiremanJG has a range in Wolfe City. Goes wayyy past 200.

Only one in dfw is gpgc that I know off
Etts, firemans, and one in cresson tx go further. But could be a drive

Poetry, N. Of Terrell, goes to 500, 700 if you're willing to move to another field. Big plus is having the range all to yourself, no fussy range masters (yes, I know they're necessary at times).

I was just looking at the poetry gun range and it looks like their membership is actually affordable. The down side is it looks like you have to make reservations in advance. Also, even though you are a member you still have to pay $25.00 per 2 hours. I think this would be a semi-annual range trip.

Yes we have berms to 700 yards and you do not go to another field you go to a different location in the same field to shoot the 600 and 700.
Yes by appointment always and I only book one shooter or group at a time.
Very reasonable general membership at $15/$25 family a year Sept to Sept like hunting license and if you really like what we are doing we have Supporting Memberships at $100 And Life Memberships for $500.00 .
