Nate33, now you know you cant post pictures of a master piece like that without how it was built and what material was used.

OK,, here are the pics --------- as with most 'projects' the cost ran totally out of control --- Got the stones from a quarry in Salado, Tx ----- $500 each and another $500 to have them delivered to Bastrop. That was the tip of the iceberg. We took the cut off portion of the stones and used them as tables next to each chair. Here are a series of pics of what happened next.

Part of the reason for the size is that wood is not an issue,,, there is infinite supply of dead trees to cut and burn.

I think the stones were not $500 each,,, mabe $200,,, I just gave them my VISA # and tried not to look at the bill,,,, the walk way stones, eqpt rental,,, etc etc ------ I would throw - up if I added it all up.

awesome pit, really like the idea of the lime stone. Bet those hold up well to the heat for sure, the tables look really nice also.
