You can get a lot done with a 35-45hp rental tractor with/ shredder in a day.

There it is. up

Use to rent a tractor from Zimmern Kubota in Decatur once a year for two days at the end of September or first week of October. Would have a 6' Bush hog to mow and a disc to plant. Everybody setup is a little different, I take care of 80 acres and there are a lot of small parcels around me. For me I believe its best to do your mowing only in late May so your not disturbing your hunting area right before hunting season. If you have a large spread then probably not a big deal when you do it.

If the vegetation is rough, at least rent a tractor for the first time so you can knock everything down to where it might be more manageable with a smaller atv later 2cents

I have one of these and it works well.. its an 8ft but you will tax an ATV to the max with it.. I pull it behind a cub cadet volunteer utility vehicle.. It works well though... If you just wanting to mow these work much better
