Unable to obtain a fresh brain by searching graveyards, Dr. Frankenstein was forced to visit an underground body parts merchant.
When he inquired as to the cost of a good fresh brain, the merchant responded "$5,000 for a Democrat's brain - $200 for a Republican's brain."
"How can there be such a large price difference," inquired the good doctor, "and why is there a price difference at all?.
"Well," responded the merchant, "I'd like to get more for Republican brains, But you can't sell brains that have been used so much for the same price as brains that have never been used."

Well, a little different.  The old one had to do with supply, i.e. the lack of Democrat brains.
