There are significant threads on them on both 1911 and Colt forums. You've missed the boat on the release from Colt at original prices - though there is a chance they may have some more issued M45A1's for sale later. They also sold some brand new in the box guns but those are gone and there will be no more of them. Both are also available from dealers that purchased them - listed on Gunbroker for significantly higher prices. The issued guns sold originally for $1350 and have been selling for $3500 and up on the secondary market. The new guns originally were listed shortly for $1895 and the prices were steadily increased on them until they were selling for $2995. I have no idea what people are asking for them on the secondary market. I wanted to get one of the new ones to go with my issued gun, but the $1895 price was only good for like 2 hours. By the time I saw them they were selling for $2395 and I elected to not get one at that price not when I prefer the issued guns and bought it for $1k less. There were only a total of 1000 guns (issued and new in box) sold.
