Looking to upgrade some of my hunting gear. Which line do you think is better?

Too expensive for me, I will stick with the Walls Pro Hunting Series.
Adios,

I overhauled mine with a Kryptek purchase last year with a coat, pants and cold weather overalls. It is the lightest/warmest stuff I've ever worn. The overalls are almost too much for a Texas winter.

I really like the pattern, I'm invisible in my box blind. smile

I have a bit of Kryptek and most of the Kuiu stuff that's big enough.

I still need a cold weather jacket in Kryptek. Have the Borealis jacket and it kept me warm on a spot and stock cow elk hunt in New Mexico the week before New Years. Chilly in the morning and windy. Wore the Aegis extreme bibs in Alberta for a November moose hunt a few years ago, Only got down to 10F, but kept me comfortable in my evening deer stands with a Fleece and a Kuiu Guide jacket over the top.

The only reason I got into Kuiu is because my brother bought me the Yukon rain jacket and pants along with the gray/phantom Guide DCS jacket. I've been slowly adding to the kit the last couple years usually only making additions from the outlet or during sales.

I like them both and will be getting the Cadog jacket, and maybe the Aegis Jacket if I go on another late season hunt in Canada or similar. In Kuiu, I'll be adding some of the lighter weight layers to the kit since they are starting to make the Peloton shirts in XXXL. I like Kryptek's solid color wool and soft shell gloves.

What type of hunting? Box blind? Both are a waste of money.

Backcountry/western hunting (ie moving around instead of drinking coffee)? From my personal experience with both I'd pick Kuiu over Kryptek, but both would be better than cotton garments.

Knock yourself out doing what you like. I'll be enjoying myself equally as much, kicked back in my executive desk chair, iPad and coffee, doing my part to control the Hog/Varmit population and maybe a deer. I probably need to look in to one of those foot bath machines to soften up my cuticles. Think they make one that works on 12v?

What kind of hunting will you be doing? I had some of the early variation Kryptek gear and it pilled badly after a few washes and was prone to pulls and runs.

I've since moved over to Kuiu for most of my western hunting.

If you are sitting in an exposed treestand in the cold or busting through serious brush you might not be happy with either one.

No reason to take offense. Kuiu and kryptek simply aren't geared towards stationary blind hunting and to spend money on either would be a waste.

Different strokes for different folks. I prefer to hunt for the challenge. You hunt for leisure. No harm in either.
