357 Subsonic strikes again

Went out last weekend to hunt under my new dusk to dawn hog light. Problem is I set it about 15 yards to far from feed area. The PVS-14 would let me see them, but when I transitioned to day optic no luck. Waited about 15 minutes for him to make his way into the light and then dropped him. 247gr Cast wadcutter did the deed. try to when possible, penetration is plenty good for high shoulder shot.

Very nice! The ideal shape of a subsonic bullet is a cylinder shape. That 247 grain is PERFECT! Bullet stability is based on bullet length, and this shape gets the bullet weight as high as possible for more energy and deeper penetration. That's awesome!
