 How is the moisture in the Rolling Plains? Good sign for 2017 - 2018 Quail crop?

I hunt every year up in Jones County. Question: Hows the moisture so far this year in the rolling plains? Good indications of another great year?

Jayton/Snyder area has received a couple of timely rains. I drove to Canyon this morning(from Ft Worth) and most of the drive looked good and green and some standing water in places from yesterdays good rain.
