If you can't laugh at yourself, give me a call. I'll gladly laugh at you. "I keep trying to see Nancy Pelosi's and Chuck Schumer's point of view, but I can't seem to get my head that far up my [censored]." Senator John Kennedy, Louisiana

It amazes me that hunters, seemingly smart ones, keep buying this crap. Same goes for products like scent elimination sprays and Ozonics. They simply do not work and no science exist that suggest they do but yet, the store shelves are full of this crap and hunters keep throwing good money after bad at them. Oh well, it's America and I am a free market Capitalist so I don't knock the companies who fool the dolts into buying their products.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

OK, while I myself don't believe in any of these products (the fact that dogs can smell you in them should tell you all you need to know), you do realize that ALS (scent lok) actually won against all those suits, right?

Doesn't really matter. Everytime you breathe and exhale, you emit human odor no matter what you are wearing. Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back and quit paying good money for that crap.

I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

I wash my hunting clothes in scent free soaps, and bath with scent free stuff when hunting. Do I believe this makes me scent free, not at all. I'm trying to avoid smelling like Gain laundry detergent, Gillette cool wave deodorant and Irish Spring soap. I buy all my scent free detergents and soaps at the end of hunting season at deeply discounted prices. I do not own any scent blocking camo.

I really don't think the deer mind if you smell like Gain, Gillette cool wave, or Irish Spring...I think it likely bothers them more that you smell human.
I've had coon dogs, hog dogs, and tracking dogs for years, and I've seen them do too much to believe any of that stuff helps. Then you see where scent hounds can track a specific person through a huge city of people, and it confirms it...if they can pick one person's scent out of a million, they can pick a person's scent out of a jumble of cover scents, scent blockers, and scent hiders, and if a dog can do it, a deer with similar olfactory structure can too.

Ask yourself how it was we almost managed to wipe out the deer herds back in the days when maybe, just maybe you took a bath on Saturday night, that probably had water that had already been used once or twice and stuff like deodorant wasn't even a figment of somebody's imagination.

Next your going to tell me I don't have to change camo patterns everytime I step in front of differnt bush? I was starting to get in shape hauling a field locker around on my back full of clothes! The tighty whities where obvious while stripped down between shades of fauna so I have decided cammando was way to go.
Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock! 12/26/03-10/25/13

I wouldn't waste my money on any... Except when Walmart has gallons of the stuff on clearance for a dollar You are certainly right in this statement. Our Walmart had a ton of this type of merchandise left on the shelf after hunting season.
