Anybody know anything bout the bow posted below? Name brand? Approximate value?
Got it from my dad, I know he hadn't shot it in over 40 years and my mother said possibly longer than that. It's in great shape and broadheads are still sharp. I don't need it and thinking of possibly selling it in the garage sale but don't have any ideal about it.
So help a fellow out THF!

Trying to remember some about this bow, i have seen a few of them over the years. 58 inch recurve with a draw of 45lbs when drawn 28 inches. I think the bow is from the 50s and are good quality bows. If the limbs are not warped or delaminating a new string would get you going. Personally I would keep it if it were my Dads bow.

I'd say it is 98% good condition. I wouldn't trust the string of course.
NewGulf- I'll never use it, I doubt my dad ever used it. If someone could use it I'd rather see it used.
Only thing I'd do is hang it on the wall and look at it from time to time.

I'd hang it on my wall just because it was my dad's and its cool. I'd never sell it.

I think that it's very old

With the multiplicity of the options for the best compound bows, many may end up deciding in haste. Nonetheless, at all times, you have to decide beyond price.

I agree with Motex, it looks like and is marked like a Ben Pearson, I have one from the 1960 era but I believe you have it strung backwards.
