I would put this in the outfitters section but would rather just go sit with a fellow hunter or landowner. 4/22 is my target date and I have property in Nac Co we could hunt if needed. I recall a fellow that did hunts up by Melissa and had several spots to call from.

If you have a place, your chances will be higher if you just try and find someone who can bring equipment and come hunt with you.

I'd normally be more than happy to hunt with you, but I don't have any access up there, nor do I know anyone who does.
If your wanting to shoot a cat to mount, you might want to wait until next year, about 45 days ago they were awesome, but hides are looking pretty rough right now. Best to get them towards the end of winter when they are prime, makes a much prettier mount.
Also if you have access to some land, you can get just about any old cheap hand call from Academy and call a cat it, no experience needed. They are really pretty easy to call, much much easier than a coyote.
Whatever you decide, good luck, and post pics!

I agree with RockinU its a good chance the fur will not be optimum. I tell folks for fur around here its Dec/Jan/Feb. I know my fur buyer wont buy any taken now.

Each spot was pretty much a one set spot, but he kept you moving around and did have some good spots. Was reasonable on price too and really wanted you to have the best opportunity possible. I will say don't go after a rain, some spots were not accessible when muddy. Monte, is mainly a hog guy. But he may be able to open up some land for you to call. Just have to give him a ring and see what he says.
