 Anybody tried the DPMS LR308 upgraded extractor and elastomer spring??!

I recently caught wind of an "unbreakable" extractor and super durable elastomer spring that is supposedly being included in 2017 GII rifles.
The kit is available from DPMS direct or retailers for around 50 bucks shipped and is backwards compatible (original non-GII LR308s).
Has anybody fixed a malfunctioning rifle and has any input on the quality of the extractor upgrade?
Why don't we see this design offered by other companies and for the AR15 platform ?

I have about 400 rounds down my LR .308 with hand loads, and can't recall a problem with the parts that came in the bolt.

My LR 308 has not had any feeding or extraction issues either.
