How many applied for deer tags to New Mexico this year?

I applied for first and second rifle in unit 30 and first rifle in unit 31. Didn't draw anything last year and tried OTC in unit 71 in Colorado, but just had some nice walks and got sunburned.

We put in for second and first rifle hunt in Unit 30. Didn't get picked last year. I work with someone people who retired from the Hobbs and Carlsbad area and they said even though 31 doesn't have a lot of deer, the ones that get to maturity are huge. I've hunted 30 since 1995 with the exception of one year, last year.

I have only hunted Unit 30 once and that was two years ago. Didn't draw anything last year??? Prefer to hunt Unit 30 again, but threw in 3rd choice unit 31 for insurance. April 22nd will tell the tell.

Unit 23 for Coues, unit 33 and 30. Never hunted any of the units before. Wanted to try something different.

Applied for Jan archery

I applied for 30 and 31 archery this year. I got the privilege to hunt 30 and 34 the last two years and loved it. Beats the hell out of whitetail hunting

applied for elk, pronghorn and ibex. I'll buy a MD OTC in a unit close to home that I found some good pockets in. Draw is on the 26th.

Lived in TX and drove into 31 every day for a few years. Pretty desolate part of the world out there!

We put in for 2B deer like we do every year. Been drawn four times in seven years.

Looks like I will be heading to New Mexico, Unit 30, Oct 28-Nov 1 for Mule Deer. Wahooooo
