What spare batteries do you carry when you're out and for what gear?

It's crazy how batteries have become such a larger part of the load...

Lot's of Kentli AA rechargeables for:

- Game Cameras
- Driveway Alarms (sensor and receiver for hog hunting)
- Rangefinder
- Need one for a backup for the ignitor on my Mr Buddy heater.

AAA's for smaller/backup headlamp

Rechargeable lithium cell for primary headlamp

About the same size rechargeable battery for Cellphone/iPad

At least half-dozen CR-123A's for Thermal Monocular and Thermal scope

With all this, I still wouldn't trade the use of any of the above. Once you figure out what you need, and have 'em, not a problem.

AA for game cams, flashlights, weather radio, AAA for various flashlights, headlamps, TV remote, sq. 9V for smoke detector, Cs for one game cam & LED lantern. I don't buy anything that requires CR123s.

Mostly AA and AAA. For cameras, flashlights and headlamps. And some d's for the feeder!

AA, 6volt feeder (I run them in a series for 12volt service) and a couple extra Streamlight batteries.

For you AA users, I strongly recommend trying the Kentli rechargeables you can get on ebay. It's a bit spendy to get started, but they hold a charge well, appear to have a long cycle life (life between charges, after multiple charges) vs other rechargeable AA's I've tried and can be used with/without a solar panel on cameras.

6 - CR 123's for flashlights, a couple dozen AA for game cams
