I'm wanting to try hunting pigs with a thermal sight. I like the flexibility of one gun day or night. Mine is an AR in 7.62x39 with Leupold 3x9x50. I know it's gonna be pricy. What would be the cheapest thermal Clip-On here you mount it in front of your regular day scope? Watcha got?

New pulsar coming out with one under 4. Attaches to the bell of the scope. Otherwise Armasight Apollo in the lower resolution. Holler at me if I can help.

MD what's your opinion of Pulsar DFA75? I've found them for $1800. That's more of the entry level price I wanted if they are good quality stuff.

Just to confirm... the DFA is NV when you said you wanted a Thermal.

Yeah...I'm afraid my ignorance is showing once again. NV will do for now I think. Who has an opinion on the DFA?

There is a lot of difference in the DFA vs the thermal in terms of aim correction.

The DFA has different engineering of optical to optical to bore axis whereas the thermal clip on will be on the same bore axis as the day optic

Try for a used DFA sub 1k

Yeah skip that dfa if you want thermal. Look at the new thermal version of it. FXQ Pulsar.
