Considering the view screen is a lcd, why does this scope have a slight parallax condition?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

If I move my head slightly side to side the poa moves slightly on the image display.

I went and drug mine out of the closet. Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see it in mine. In order for that to occur, the crosshairs would have to be mechanical like in the old models or there would otherwise have to bea way for the crosshairs to be projected separate from the image....I think...

That is my thinking. Maybe I don't have the ocular lens adjusted right? My bigger problem is it also has a Horizontal misalignment problem of 3 moa between 30yrds and 80yrds. I don't see how to adjust the mount? Anyone else dealt with this problem?

It is possible the mount is crooked on the scope? Haven't see an shift on the ones I have used.

I haven't seen any parallax in a thermal. You sure its not just an optical illusion and the crosshairs aren't staying on target? Might have to put in a hard mount and I bet you find it's not actually displaying any parallax.

I don't see how parallax would be remotely possible. You're looking at a monitor.

Cheek weld to your stock must be repeatable and comfortable
In addition you'll want to lock that scope down at the sweet spot - typically when your eye is looking dead on center into the ocular rear objective
Since the scope doesn't have optical magnification you cannot experience parallax
The issue you're experiencing is due to 1 or more of the following :
You're moving your head and therefore your eyeballs around the optical center of the rear ocular lense while keeping the scope in a static position and focusing on a static point on the near eye display (LCD).
Most ocular rear objectives are either convex or concave and so this will make the brain see distortion due to the shape of the glass when you aren't following correct cheek weld and setup to the eyepiece.
Make sense?

Since the scope doesn't have optical magnification.... I agree overall, but the scope does have optical magnification.

It is a concave lens so seeing the image at a slight angle would change the focal length to the display. I'm thinking I don't have the eye piece focused properly. I was taught to adjust the eyepiece where the display is in focus and readable? I wish I could shoot a video of what I am seeing. It's not the 4 moa horizontal deviation I have but it could be part of it?

Since the scope doesn't have optical magnification.... I agree overall, but the scope does have optical magnification. ....... Technically I should clarify .......... The scope does not have variable / adjustable magnification

No, not just technically, the difference between the 38, 50 and 75 is the magnification of the attached optical lenses. And it does have variable/adjustable magnification, but that is digital magnification...technically...

What it doesn't have is variable/adjustable optical magnification.

The reticle is on the display, so there is no way to have any parallax issue. It may appear that there is a parallax issue or drift with change in cheek weld(and there would be if the reticle was not digital), but thermal weapon scopes do not require a collimated eye piece to eliminate parallax.
