Using the Precision Hunter ammo with my 308. At the range, all groups are sub-MOA. This past weekend I connected on a wild boar. The results were devastating; completely blew out the far-side ribs with a 5"+ exit wound. I later used the same rifle and ammo on a water buffalo. I took two shots. The first shot dumped all of the energy inside it and there was no exit wound. The water buffalo almost did a back flip when shot. The second shot was more for insurance and just expedited things. The water buffalo only went about 30 yards from the first shot to where it finally passed.
I am impressed with this ammo. It is accurate and hammers the animals (granted this is just sample size of two).

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna try it in my 300 wm
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

I used 300wm and 308 Precision Hunter last year for deer season and will again this year. I hit a doe quartering away with the 300wm at about 150yds. The bullet hit a little far back behind the ribs and exited out the front opposite shoulder. It did extensive damage internally but did not perform like a ballistic tip. In other words, it seemed to hold together even after that much penetration. The exit whole was not that big on her. I also killed an bunch of hogs with both calibers and they were all DRT. I really like the loads.
