I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a RARR in 300 BLK. There are so many different suppressors not sure what to get.
Uses: target and hog getter under about 100 yards (usually under 75).
I won't be carrying around a lot stalking but never say never...should I go titanium? I'm concerned about it being so front heavy that if I do go on a walkabout it will be difficult at best to shoot if I don't go titanium (or is this not a valid concern).
This will be my first suppressor and I have done a bunch of reading. Honestly, it seems like many of the .30 cans are the same and not that much different (other than weight) so any help would be great.
Thanks

A good 30 caliber and you will get the most use out of it. 300 blk is easy to suppress, base your pick on what other calibers you want to shoot also. There are a bunch of multi-caliber cans like the mystic or hybrid out there as well.

Buy the best, quietest, and lightest .30 cal can you can afford to stomach. The process takes so long, you don't want to look back and regret not going first class, one time. It's cheaper in the long run.

Weight is quite possibly the most important factor when considering a suppressor.

After owning two, my longer, heavier, but quieter can never gets used except by friends. I only use my shorter, lighter one, even though it is a touch louder.

I'd get an Omega or consider a Gemtech Tracker.

x1000. I thought I wanted the quietest one possible which is the one I bought for my first one....AAC Cyclone. It was rated as the quietest suppressor around when I bought it, but it's long and heavy, and was a pain to carry around on the rifle.

Second time around I went shorter and lighter and am much happier.

Rugged supressors surge 7.62 it's modular and can be configured in both a long and short configuration also if you have a 5.56 you can switch endcaps so it's basically four cans
I haven't been able to find a single bad review about it besides the muzzle breaks are kinda hard to find.

Thanks all. Surprisingly, the the two I was leaning towards and trying to decide between were the Thunder Beast ultra 7 ($1000) and the Gemtech Tracker ($600). approx 2oz weight difference and about an inch in length. Probably be happy with either one really.
