We were up at our lease in the panhandle yesterday to put out some protein and corn. At one of our tower stands one of the windows on the stand was open. I'm guessing we didn't get it latched good the last time we were in it and the famous panhandle winds shook it open. After filling that feeder I went to the stand to close the window in hopes that the Barn Owls hadn't taken it over. Well when I climbed up and opened the door two big Barn Owls flew out of the window. From the looks of things they must have just found it since they hadn't built a nest or made a total mess of the stand yet.
In every old body lives a young person wondering what the hell happened!
