Getting ready, anyway. Putting on a little team builder for the guys at work on Sunday. Delivered 500 lbs to my door. Nice ones, too. Can't wait to light the burners. More to come....

Aw man...if you are ever in my neck of the woods give me a holler and we'll change that buddy! if they're cooked right, they are very easy to eat (takes little effort/meat pops right out). It won't take you very long to get stuffed on tails once you get the hang of it.

I love going to crawfish boils but don't care for crawfish. I usually stop and grab something on the way and then make sure and drink plenty of beer while standing around!

P.S. I put an envelope in the mail today for you. Full Speed Ahead Crawfish on the Goux is the business, Guy lives in Portland. $2.25 delivered right now and they're nice. Can't beat that in these parts. I recommend them. They hauled 2,500 lbs from Louisiana with this order. They even delivered 20 lbs to a friend of mine recently, they are legit and in good shape. They deliver and cook crawfish for various restaurants & other establishments/get together's in the area. Way better crawfish than HEB or any of the local seafood markets, and cheaper. A letter, rut rhoh What did I do LOL....

Can't beat $2.25/lb delivered fresh in this neck of the woods, especially this size. Let me correct myself...not BOILING these, they are steamed and then soaked. I've always boiled/soaked and I put out some good crawfish but.... I just learned of this method last week (look on YouTube for the Frog Bone method of steaming/soaking). The guy that I am cooking with entered the biggest crawfish cooking competition in the country last year/first time competing/and took 3'rd place. Was told that if his tent was more presentable they probably would have taken 1'st. I heard all of this, and decided to drop by last weekend for a lesson & sample - to check it out. All I can say is It takes more cookers to steam & soak vs the traditional boil & soak (this method is more work) but can tell the difference. The ingredients are prepared differently, every thing about this method is different but DANG good. IMO, they come out cleaner/absorb more flavor/even easier to eat. Lot's of folks hard headed about trying something new, I'm not.

Truck & trailer loaded, headed to location. Kids loved helping me with cleaning and pickin'. Had 6 cookers going, and they got scooped up as fast as we could put them out. DANG good eatin'!

Was a successful get together. Cooked 500 lbs of BIG crawfish with sides and some shrimp, with NO leftovers. Had music & games going, I love this stuff. Was wore plum out by the time we got everything cleaned & loaded. Didn't wanna get up at 4am for work not the first time and won't be the last. Thanks for looking.
