I have a Go Pro but was wondering if you would even be able to see the animal on a far shot in the video. Does anyone have any footage of a hunt using a Go Pro?

Yeah, you can look at several such vids on Youtube and you will find them less than really helpful. ATN makes the Shot Trak that has some magnification that might do a better job for you, but I don't have any personal knowledge of their use. You might look on Youtube and see what vids have been produced (and NOT from ATN or their people) and see what the quality looks like and if the folks seem to like using it. This is a comparison video that might give you some idea...
