Not my cup of tea. Beaver on here has posted several pictures from tower shoots.

They are lot's of fun for after the real season

I go to three different ones:

Here is the top 3 around dfw

Hidden lakes resort in yantis (lake fork)
Greystone castle in Strawn area
Upland bird in corsicana

Good people, good fun and good volume shooting
Many shots - especially at hidden lakes- are 40-100 yard shots with nr 4 and full to extra full chokes

The good ones are fun, and the shooting is quite challenging; I don't think the online videos do them justice.

Ideally, the launch tower is hidden by trees, and the birds come blasting out at unknown intervals flying high and fast. The gap between the trees and the shooting positions should only be about 30 - 35 yards or so. Somewhere around 30% of the birds succeed in flying through the line, depending on the group doing the shooting. If you're thinking about the upcoming shoot at Hidden Lakes, I can recommend them without reservation.

Yes
U are correct
The birds at hidden fly fast and very high
Most of the time u have to lead the bird 5-10 yards
No joke
