Refried beans will thicken the chili and not change the flavor. I always add a can in there as well as in my pinto beans to thicken them. Try it. Thank me later.

Made 22+ pounds this weekend. No pics, but this is all my chili has in it
Venison Ancho Powder Beef Bullion Brown Sugar Chicken Bullion Cumin Dark Chili Powder Garlic Powder Habanero Powder Jalapeno Powder Light Chili Powder Onion Powder Paprika Red pepper Salt White pepper I usually don't go to this much trouble while giving out my recipe, but I also add sugar as well as vinegar. The chili powder is loaded with paprika.
