Started me a batch. About 3lbs. ground venison, diced Bell Pepper, onions, two cloves of garlic, Jalapenos and the other stuff. Taking it to the woods with me up

Put a can of refried beans in there at the end.

Refried beans will thicken the chili and not change the flavor. I always add a can in there as well as in my pinto beans to thicken them. Try it. Thank me later.

As much as I love most kinds of beans, I do not put them in my chili.

Tried this the other day with some home made chili - and it did thicken it up nice and was good. Thank you sir!
