I've got a 2014 ram 2500 diesel 4x4 with aftermarket fuel wheels that have some off set. I'm looking to run 35" tires without leveling or lifting it. Has anyone on here done this and have y'all ran into any issues

Just going to depend on how much offset. With a factory or close to 35's work pretty easily

OEM stock you may have to do minor metal trimming with a rim width 10 inches or bigger. I would atleast get an offset of -12 or -24...even with that you still might have a slight rub.

They are 18" fuel octanes and it seems to be a 4.5-5" off set

That means its most likely 18x9 -12mm offset on OEM stock....you're most likely going have to do some minor trimming. I would personally go with 34's like a 295/70r18 tires

Go to customwheelsoffset.com. Look at their gallery and type in the year model, 18 inch rims, 35' in tires, and the truck listed as what you're going for has said it did minor metal trimming to fit those 35's. All the 35's stock suspension with 18 inch on up to 22 inch rims on there show some rub or minor trimming

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'll look into a step down from the 35" just to be sure. This truck hauls quite a bit and I have to go through ditches and pastures hauling hay and cows so I guess 35s would limit my travel

I also think your positive offset helped you out as well. His offset is a -12mm and I think if he goes 35x12.5...he'll slightly rub

I'm not sure if I can get that size in the tires I want. I'm just worried bout leveling it and making it ride worse. I mean it is a dodge lol it's not a Cadillac

I mean it is a dodge lol it's not a Cadillac I don't think leveling it would look too bad...do a Bilstein leveling kit...rides amazing. That's what I had on my ram 1500 before I got a suspension lift.

They make a 1", 2", and 2.75" level for your truck and is a softer coil spring than stock, so depending on shocks it will ride better than stock. I have quite a bit of thuren components under the front of my 2011 2500. I know mine is a different front end system, but I'm extremely happy with my thuren parts. Thuren Fab Components

I didn't say they don't make them, but they don't even call out anything about their coils on their "level kit". Might as well add some leveling pucks to the stock springs and add the 5100s for shocks. Bet they'll jar your fillings out too. Thuren is a very reputable company for dodge/ram suspension components and you can go from mild to wild, depending on how much money you want to spend. Basic leveling thru them is around $500, but you get a quality spring, and a decent shock for your average Joe.

Matter of fact,if you don't want to level your damn truck with thurens or whatever...don't go 35x12.5's with your rims...go 295/70 with a 34in tire. You might be able to get by with 35's if you find a tire width thinner than the usual 12.5 - 13 in wider tires. Only rub you'll have is at full turn most likely.

I like the look of the leveled truck but I don't want to throw anything out of wack or put any added stress

Why not just go with a 3 inch suspension? Suspensions ride way better than most leveling kits anyways. More on the exspensive side but worth the upgrade if you get you a good lift...also body lifts can look ugly and are a lot of work to put on, but body lifts wont change your stock ride feel at all...just gives body more clearance to fit bigger tires. Just suggestions, but if you like the OEM stock, I would try to fit a 35x12 - 11.5 inch tire in there and see....if anything just minor trimming on plastic and rub on arms at full turn. 34's would fit perfectly though.

https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-...ension-lift-3inNow that's a good looking ride right there with a 3 inch suspension lift...I wouldn't prefer rough country though cause rides rougher, but a bds 3 inch would be amazing on ride! slightly more expensive. Fits 35's like a charm.

I'll check them out I'm just trying not to lift it cause I get good fuel mileage and I tow a lot of gooseneck trailers and 5th wheels. I had a duramax I lifted and ended having to put a flat bed on it for towing and I'm trying to not go that route. I do like the kits that come with new springs and shocks

If I look at your original post, you wanted to run a 35 with no lift. My truck (and others...) prove you can do that given the proper wheel offset (which I never saw you state) and not going with a 12" or wider tire. The stock tire/wheel on my Laramie Longhorn were 20" wheels with 33" tires.
If you want 35's and have the wrong offset, sell your wheels and buy new ones. Cheaper than a lift.
Otherwise, your only choice is to run a smaller than 35" tire.
Increasing your tire size above stock will lower your mileage a bit, whether it's lifted or not.
Charlie
