I googled for ideas. What are you looking for - shooting range, blind, mobile, stationary, give some ideas of requests .

I built this one out of treated lumber about 15 years ago. Still serves me today and has been used by dozens of friends and family over the years. That "custom cushion" came out of a school bus I converted to an RV.

Folding shooting bench in my box blind This is one of the cooler blind set ups I've seen. What do you have the interior paneling covered with?

Best price I could find on big sheets that fit my box blind -- 1 1/2" thick and 72"x80" @ $32 each.
Liquid nails to glue em on walls, ceiling and floor (put a 1" rubber shop mat from tractor supply on top of foam on floor. Really makes it quiet when moving chair or when you drop your binos.

Made bunch of these for our clubs rifle range, less than $100 each. Black pipe frame with two layers of 3/4" treated plywood glued and bolted to the frame. Adjustable piano style stool fits any sized shooter, disc blade base and ACME threaded seat. Tube bender or local muffler shop can bend the frames. Solid and weather proof. Some at the range have been out for nearly 20 years.
Well done Sir! Build it once, build it right and use it forever.

While not home made by me they are made by a friend and fellow shooter. I have bought four of these over the last few years. They are built right here in Waco and even sold at the local Ace Hardware. They have evolved in design since my first ones and are lighter and easier to adjust now but they are very well made and look great. Here is the older style http://legacyshootingproducts.com/products/ambidextrous-shooting-bench

Thank you DStroud. Yes, current models use 6061 aluminum legs, and bench is skeletonized (internal voids) to lighten the entire unit. Anti-skid on area for front rest keeps front end steady. ...and this is the only bench with adjustable legs so it can be adjusted to the terrain.

some pretty cool benches. We have a range at our lease (bunch of dirt piled up every 100 yards out to 500), but no bench. We've been talking about making one... these may inspire me

not homemade but what we use on the lease & they are very stable get rid of the screw in Y bracket on top of table and use bags or lead sled or whatever combination of rest you want. table is easy to setup and takedown to store. it is the most stable one I have shot off of, Herters deluxe table have seen it go from $99-$179
