I am running Barnes TSX 150gr using H110, 16 inch barrel
Shot a yotie tonight 195 yards with it.

I am running Barnes TSX 150gr using H110, 16 inch barrel
Shot a yotie tonight 195 yards with it.
How far would you feel comfortable shooting a 150gr round out of a 16" barrel at a deer? I have a 300blk bolt gun and I always figured the 125gr was the threshold between distance and energy for supersonic hunting.

The bullet did not expand when it hit the coyote, just went right through it. I would say 150 yards max on a deer but I am no expert on the subject. I need to do some more work on the load since this was my first time to get it dialed in.
