Saw two bucks tonight while checking coon traps that still had their antlers. This is the latest I've ever personally seen one that still had them. Anyone else still seeing them?

Saw several on our place on Monday that still had headgear.

Saw two a few minutes ago in Mills County, headgear still intact. I've seen some here in April before

In Menard County I found six sheds without much effort. Although some still have their antlers, most seem to have lost them earlier than normal.

I'm hearing of horns still being seen, but got word today also that our first fawns of the year have been spotted.

Every buck (several dozen) I saw in and around Port Mansfield this weekend still had their antlers. Also saw some very small deer that had to have been fawns.

depends on the area and when they are born. I have seen some with antlers at almost turkey season. It just depends. I think mid march for is the best time.

Game camera from 3-11-17 shows many of the known bucks still having their antlers and at least two dozen bucks were witnessed this past weekend having both antlers. Only two bucks on camera with one side shed. Val Verde County

Last weekend in Baylor county we did a helicopter hog hunt on the lease and I was surprised that we saw so many bucks with antlers. I saw only one with one antler, and only found one new shed. Definitely dropping later than usual this year.

Ran over a shed by one of our feeders in the panhandle yesterday. Luckily the tines were pointed down and I didn't ruin a $250 tire.

I was in my stand this past week and saw a nice nine point I've never seen before and saw a spike that still hadn't dropped their antlers....it sure is unusual that they haven't dropped them yet. And oh, had many more on the game cams from the past week still sporting their antlers.

I haven't found any sheds yet at the lease but on my HF ranch all the big bucks have dropped their horns two weeks ago but many of the 1-2 year olds are still wearing theirs proudly. Actually it's amazing how much the younger bucks realize the older ones have no horns because they get pretty bullish around the feeders now...paybacks are hell come next fall...lol
