I sauteed them im fresh garlic, fresh pinaple and parsley with butter and olive oil.
Fresh sourdough bread to dip in sauce.

I am more into quantity than quality. Same with my beer. When I used to have to actually work we got shrimp like that with the heads tails and feet over seas. They always called them prawns. Seemed like a lot of trouble getting to the part you eat. I like what some others have said about the cheap shrimp at HEB that are already gutted and heads pulled off. I am sure the ones you had were very good.

I know that. Wait until you are 80 years old. I lived in New Orleans and did dozens as well as crawfish boils. I've traded beer for shrimp off the boat. I've caught 16 count shrimp with castnets. I only buy them peeled and devained anymore.
