They claim to be the best tasting shrimp. It's Hawaii week at Central Market, and they had some FRESH Kauai Shrrimp I sauteed them im fresh garlic, fresh pinaple and parsley with butter and olive oil. Fresh sourdough bread to dip in sauce. Good lawd that was good. Best taste shrimp hands down

What do they run a pound? $14.99 I had 1 1/2 lbs, and im full They have the same firmness as lobster and taste super sweet. They were excellent! Tomorrow last day.

I am more into quantity than quality. Same with my beer. When I used to have to actually work we got shrimp like that with the heads tails and feet over seas. They always called them prawns. Seemed like a lot of trouble getting to the part you eat. I like what some others have said about the cheap shrimp at HEB that are already gutted and heads pulled off. I am sure the ones you had were very good.

I've traded beer for shrimp off the boat. I've caught 16 count shrimp with castnets. I only buy them peeled and devained anymore.
